All through ancient history to the present there have been prophets and seers who became famous with their psychic predictions. The book of Daniel, the famous french seer and mystic Nostradamus, and Edgar Cayce are three well known figures noted for their ability to see into the future. These prophets hit the mark so often with their prediction powers that others sought them out for advice and counsel. Starting with Daniel we examine his prophecy and how effective his clairvoyance and if it stands up today.
In chapter two of the book of Daniel in the Bible there is Nebuchadnezzar’s Dream. It was the job of Daniel to take the dream of King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon and to interpret it as accurately as possible. In a nutshell the dream was an intense vision of a massive image giant in size and deep in meaning that baffled the king in his understanding of it. The head of the image was gold and silver formed its chest and arms. The thighs and belly were of bronze and the legs consisted of iron and the toes were iron mixed with clay.
